Efficiency in handling and storage of bagged / palletized general cargo
 
We operate annually a quantity of up to 100,000 tons of general cargo and we can simultaneously store a quantity of 20,000 tons of bagged cargo, both in warehouses/ sheds and onto open platforms.

Goods of this type can be operated in any UMEX berth, depending on the specifics of the operation/ cargo.
 
 

 
The facilities we have are adapted for handling the cargo directly from the ship to barges/ trucks/ wagons or indirectly, by storing these on platforms or in warehouses/ sheds – depending on the specifications received from our customers. The equipment we have allows us to achieve significant operating rates, and gives us operational flexibility – we can transport the cargo by trucks between the berth and the storage spaces assigned to the project.
