Certifications

 
Starting in 2024, UMEX’s activities are certified by the Certification Body Bureau Veritas for the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at Work, as well as Energy) specific to the port operation of containers and general goods, in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 Standards.
 
In 2015, UMEX obtained certification for the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2008 Standard.
 
Since 2020, UMEX has implemented, alongside the Quality Management System, the Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, thus holding an Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the requirements of the three international standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
 
The year 2024 also marks the implementation of the Energy Management System according to ISO 50001:2018 standard, with UMEX being the first port operator in Constanța Port to obtain this certification.
